The main aims of "glass cockpit" concept for ANSAT light multipurpose helicopter are the following
- placing all the necessary parametric and warning information in accordance with AP-29 and ОТТ Air Forces documentation on the limited area of instrument panel.
- the improvement of ergonomical characteristics of the instrument panel due to integrated display of the following information:
- flight navigation data – on ИМ-16-3 multifunctional displays;
- operation modes and states of power unit and helicopter equipment – on ИМ-14-1 multifunctional displays;
- warning information – on ИМ-14-1;
- stand-by information – on ИСРП-3 integrated stand by instrument system.
- decreasing of crew psychophysical load by providing the members of the crew with the processed data which is used during the particular stages of the flight.
- decreasing the total mass of the instrumental equipment and helicopter feeder by reducing the quantity of modules and units.
- increasing the reliability factor by using the possibility to redistribute data on indicators of the same type in fault conditions.
- increasing commercial interest of foreign customers to ANSAT light multipurpose helicopter.
